Still reading Letters to Camondo. I wonder if my expectations were too great. It's good, but I don't feel any connection to this book the way I did to The Hare with Amber Eyes.
I'm re-reading a T.E. Kinsey Lady Hardcastle mystery before bed. I seem unable to break my British mystery habit, but I'm not complaining:)
I did speed through Hill House Vintage by Paula Sutton. I found it much deeper than I expected. She wrote about the pushback to her, a Black woman, writing about village life and cottagecore. She really nailed the response about Black joy needing representation. She was also on CBS This Morning addressing that as well. I enjoyed her book very much!
